Overview

Sanguine Chalice is one of the eleven Hallowed Items in Hallowed Concepts. It adds a bleed chance and healing from bleed damage. Its value depends on maintaining actual bleed ticks, so its relationship with Tri-Tip Dagger, Shatterspleen and Needletick deserves attention before a pickup or conversion.

Separate the bleed chance from the healing

The item lists a 10% chance to bleed an enemy. Your bleed damage then heals for 0.5% of maximum health per tick with one copy. Extra copies add another 0.5 percentage points of maximum-health healing per tick.

The listed ten-percent bleed chance does not increase with those additional copies. More healing per tick is useful only when bleed damage is actually ticking. An enemy that is not bleeding supplies no bleed-tick opportunity for this effect.

Build around an existing bleed source

Tri-Tip Dagger adds its own chance to inflict bleed, and Shatterspleen makes critical strikes apply bleed. Those sources can support the required damage type. Check that your selected attacks can produce their relevant effects and that the enemy survives long enough for ticks to occur.

Shatterspleen's critical condition and Tri-Tip's chance-based trigger are not interchangeable. The source values do not justify a single guaranteed healing rate for every Survivor or attack sequence. The database intentionally gives no invented healing-per-second benchmark.

Needletick changes the condition

Needletick corrupts Tri-Tip Daggers and replaces their bleed effect with collapse. Collapse is a different effect, so it does not preserve the same bleed contribution to Chalice.

That does not mean every existing bleed source disappears. A loadout may still have Shatterspleen or another documented source. Inspect which source is keeping enemies bleeding before converting Daggers and assuming the healing loop remains unchanged.

Hallowed acquisition differs from ordinary chests

Hallowed Items use the Hallowed Concepts reward systems rather than the ordinary Common or Uncommon chest pool. The Hallowed Items guide explains that family, and the Hallowed Shrine guide covers the Hex exchange context.

Do not confuse a Hallowed reward with an ethereal copy that lasts only for the current stage. The persistence of the copy matters when planning recovery for the next stage. The item overview keeps permanent, temporary and ethereal items separate.

Account for Survivor healing rules

Acolyte redirects ordinary healing through her selected passive's rules, so Chalice should not be described as an ordinary immediate health refill on her. Use the Acolyte guide alongside the effect.

Take Chalice for the documented bleed-and-healing connection, then verify the current inventory's bleed sources and survival windows. This is a reference-based application of the October 2026 item data, not a game-tested Hallowed tier ranking.
