Overview

Kjaro's Band adds a flame tornado after a qualifying heavy hit. It is an Uncommon item with a damage threshold and recharge period, so it works most predictably when the loadout has a deliberate heavy attack available as the Band becomes ready.

Meet the heavy-hit condition

The listed condition is a hit dealing more than 400% damage. A successful trigger creates a runic flame tornado for 300% TOTAL damage over time with one copy. The item then recharges for ten seconds.

The condition is different from an ordinary random on-hit roll. Frequent small attacks do not automatically become a qualifying hit by adding their separate damage numbers together. Check the skill or item hit that actually triggers the Band.

What stacks and what stays fixed

Each copy adds 300% TOTAL tornado damage. Two copies therefore list 600%, and three list 900%. The ten-second recharge and qualifying-hit condition do not improve with additional copies.

Because the damage is delivered by a tornado over time, target position matters. The source damage value is not a guarantee that every moving target takes the full result. Landing a strong triggering attack remains necessary, and keeping an enemy in useful coverage makes the effect easier to use.

Loader and Railgunner applications

Loader can use a large gauntlet attack when the Band is ready. Approach safely, land the heavy hit, then plan the next cycle around both skill and item readiness. Do not assume every grapple contact or small hit creates another tornado.

Railgunner can use her heavy scoped attack as a natural trigger. A missed shot, a poor firing angle or a cooling Band still breaks the intended sequence. The Loader build and Railgunner build explain their separate combat rhythms.

Normal Bands and the Void choice

Runald's Band contributes an ice blast and slow. The two normal Bands can contribute to the same qualifying attack, but have different results. One is not simply a different-colored copy of the other.

Singularity Band corrupts both Runald's and Kjaro's Bands. It replaces their original effects with a black hole and collapse, using a listed twenty-second cooldown. Evaluate the grouping utility and the damage you lose before accepting that replacement.

Pickup and exchange decision

Keep a Band when your loadout can repeatedly deliver qualifying hits. Another copy increases the result's damage but will not fix a loadout without a suitable trigger. Movement and cooldown support may be more useful if approaching or repeating that hit is the actual bottleneck.

Shuriken can add a separate Primary-triggered projectile, but check its damage and the current inventory against the Band's condition rather than assuming every throw triggers a ready Band. This entry records the sourced mechanics and conditional applications; no in-game comparison or damage benchmark is claimed.
