Overview
Crowbar strengthens a hit against an enemy whose health is above 90%. It is an opening-hit item, so its usefulness depends on which attack reaches a fresh target first. Large punches and accurate scoped shots use that window differently from a stream of small attacks.
Read the health condition before the damage number
Each copy adds 75% damage while the target is above the threshold. Once an enemy has 90% health or less, that bonus no longer applies to attacks against it. A damaged boss does not keep the benefit merely because your opening shot received it.
This makes the first damaging action a real decision. If smaller attacks lower a target below the threshold before your heavy attack lands, the heavy attack misses the Crowbar window. The same practical issue can arise when another player is already damaging that target.
Stack examples without an invented DPS score
One copy supplies a +75% conditional bonus; two supply +150%; three supply +225%. These are increases to the qualifying hit, not an average damage increase throughout the fight.
The health threshold does not move downward with stacks. Additional copies make a successful opener stronger but do not add a second opportunity against an already injured enemy. Compare another Crowbar with items that help your repeated attacks if an encounter usually survives the opener.
Loader and Railgunner use cases
Loader can put a large charged punch into a fresh enemy. Movement and a good approach remain necessary to land it safely. Focus Crystal has a separate proximity requirement, so check both target health and distance before assuming both effects apply.
Railgunner can spend the window on a scoped weak-point shot. Her critical rules are separate from Crowbar's target-health condition: aiming correctly and reaching a fresh target are two different requirements. The Railgunner build explains that distinction, while the Loader build covers the approach-and-punch cycle.
Combine an opener with repeated damage
Kjaro's Band and Runald's Band need a qualifying heavy hit and a ready item cooldown. Crowbar can support an opening attack, but do not assume an injured target or a cooling Band receives the same combination again.
AtG missiles, skill cooldown support and mobility address other parts of a longer encounter. Choose them according to what stops the run from repeating its attacks. A stronger opener is valuable only if you can reach the target and handle whatever remains afterward.
Keep Crowbar when important fresh targets regularly receive your strongest attack first. Reduce its priority when the practical problem is sustained boss damage, recovery or escaping an attack. The database does not assign an unverified universal ranking.
