Overview

AtG Missile Mk. 1 adds a chance-based missile to eligible hits. Its missile deals TOTAL damage, so the triggering hit matters. It is useful to separate the chance of receiving a missile from the damage of a missile that has already triggered.

Effect and stacking

The listed trigger chance is 10%. A missile deals 300% TOTAL damage with one copy, 600% with two and 900% with three. Additional copies increase the result's damage; they do not change the listed chance into 20% or 30%.

Eligible hit and proc rules still matter. Do not interpret the displayed 10% as a promise that every visual damage tick rolls an independent full-chance missile. A rapid attack pattern and a large triggering hit can both support the item, but through different opportunities.

Fit the item to the attack you are using

Frequent attacks create repeated opportunities to trigger missiles. A heavy attack can produce a strong result when a missile triggers from it. The useful question is whether your current skills keep dealing eligible damage safely, rather than which Survivor name is printed at the top of a tier list.

Engineer can use inherited item effects through eligible turret attacks. That increases the importance of turret survival and placement: an inactive or destroyed turret supplies no attack opportunities. The Engineer build guide puts damage items beside the protection needed to keep the turrets firing.

Clover and missile support

57 Leaf Clover adds favorable rerolls to luck-affected chance effects, including AtG. It improves the chance through rerolls rather than adding another AtG damage stack. Pocket I.C.B.M. supplies additional missiles and later-copy missile damage; it needs an actual missile source.

These are distinct improvements. Compare the inventory's ability to trigger effects, the strength of each result, and the ability to continue fighting. Do not turn those three questions into a single invented DPS value.

Plasma Shrimp is a conversion

Plasma Shrimp corrupts all AtG copies and future AtG pickups. Its missiles require a remaining shield and use a different damage value. You lose the original chance-based missiles after conversion.

Choose Shrimp when shield uptime and repeated hits fit your run. Keep AtG when you prefer its original trigger or cannot sustain a shield reliably. Picking up a Void item is not a free second missile system alongside its counterpart.

Current-patch limit

The October 8, 2026 publisher update fixed a potentially infinite proc chain between Runic Lens and AtG. This reference uses the supported ordinary effects and makes no infinite-chain or gameplay-tested damage claim. Older clips showing that loop are not evidence that the current setup repeats it.

Reference scope: community Wiki item data reviewed October 13, 2026, with the October 8 publisher update as the patch baseline. Conditional item choices are editorial interpretation; no in-game testing is claimed.
